Walsh, who had a number or roles in William Hill, the most recent being in charge of operations control, also issued a statement saying that he couldn’t “resist” the new challenge of working at one of the most “exciting and innovative” brands in the gaming industry after working for over 20 years in William Hill. He likewise says that Coingaming are expanding extremely quickly and that he will work hard to make sure that their growth rate continues sustainably.

Richard Walsh is the third hire of executives from the traditional gaming sector that Coingaming have made so far. Previously, the company swooped another William Hill executive, Christopher Uren, as well as former games director Dominic Bourke from Betclic Everest. According to the press release, Walsh is to be in charge for overall operations but also oversee the upcoming launch of a new eSports product the company is planning to release soon.
